چکیده
Abstract Introduction. Aerobic dance (AD) has grown as a popular aerobic exercise treating metabolic diseases. However, its beneficial effects on type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) compared with other types of have not been known. This study aimed to compare the influence AD and static cycling (SC) anthropometric measures, systolic blood pressure (SBP), glucose, total cholesterol. Material Methods. The design this was randomized controlled (RCT). Thirty T2DM subjects were assigned three groups, i.e. control (C), (AD), (SC), ten in each group. SC performed times week for eight weeks. On follow-up, four withdrawn. Waist hip circumference (WC HC), BMI, (BP) measured. Blood glucose (fasting (FBG) hours postprandial (2-h PPBG)) cholesterol checked using simple, instant examination device. A paired t-test, Anova Tamhane’s T2 post hoc test applied. Significance set at p < 0.05. Results. Student’s t-test showed that post-exercise waist significantly increased group (92.7 ± 13.5 cm, = 0.04), while FBG 2-h PPBG reduced (112.5 12.0 mg/dL, 0.04 155.0 45.3 0.02, respectively). indicates lower than case (155.0 vs 171.3 19.7 0.04) 183.0 24.1 0.02). Systolic (126.9 7.5 vs. 143.3 17.5 mmHg, 0.04). magnitude (Δ) different from (Δ-18.75 10.9 Δ2.75 12.4, Δ6.37 11.8, Conclusions. Static improved 2-hour more T2DM.
